Congratulations on claiming or creating your listing! The next crucial step is verification

Once verified, your business information becomes eligible to appear across Google's

platforms.

Importance of Accurate Information

Before verification, ensure all your business details are correct. While you can make changes after verification using our product, updates may take time to reflect across Google services.

Correcting Information Before Verification

  1. Click "Later" to postpone verification
  2. For multiple locations: Open the Menu and select "Manage locations"
  3. Choose the location to edit
  4. Click "Info" from the left-side menu
  5. Select "Edit" next to each section requiring changes

Why Verification Matters

Verification is Google's way of confirming your business's legitimacy and location. Unverified information will not be published on Google platforms.

Account-Level vs. Individual Location Verification

Google account verification offers several advantages over verifying individual locations:

  • Automatic verification of existing and new locations
  • Verification of new location groups/business accounts within the same Google account

Best Practice Use a dedicated business email for verification. Avoid personal Gmail addresses to maintain consistent access and verification status, even as team members change.

Remember, Verification is your key to visibility on Google. Take the time to complete this process accurately to maximise your online presence.
