After activating Listings, it's crucial to understand the various status types you'll encounter. This guide will help you interpret these statuses across different aspects of your Listings account.
Location Status
For users managing multiple locations, you'll see two primary status types when accessing your Listings account:
- Pending: This status indicates that attention is required. Possible reasons include:
- Not all channels have verified the information
- Some fields are incomplete
- Completed: This status means:
- All information is complete
- All channels have been submitted and verified
Sync Status
To check your business synchronisation status:
- Go to your Listings profile
- Navigate to the Channel section
- Look for the Status information
Here's what each sync status means:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Listing in sync | All details are synchronized and up-to-date across all directories |
| Submitted | Details have been submitted to directories, but real-time confirmation of publication isn't available |
| Listing being updated | Creation or verification is in progress (e.g., Google verification pending, Bing quality check ongoing) |
| Listing cannot be updated / Claimed by others | An existing listing is claimed by a third party; action required to release the listing |
| Listing needs to be connected | Accounts (e.g., Google, Facebook) not yet connected, or mandatory information is missing |
Listing Status
Located in the upper right-hand side of your Listings account, this status can be:
- Active: Listings will be synced and renewed
- Inactive: Listings will not be synced anymore
- Needs Review: Our support team needs to review the location data
- Canceled: Listings will be synced but not renewed
- Closed: The location has shut down; listings will be removed from the internet
- Last Save date: Date of the most recent edits to the Listings profile
- Last Sync date: Date of the most recent synchronization across all channels
Google Listing Status
After synchronising with your Google Business account, you may see these statuses:

| Sync not started yet | Connect to Google Business Profile (GBP) |
| Connected - no listing found | Create a Listing in the connected GBP |
| Listing not verified | Start verification with suggested methods |
| Listing initiated verification | Provide the verification code to finish |
| Listing is verified | None - we start managing the listing |
| Listing found on GBP but not connected | Request Admin Rights or connect with another GBP |
Facebook Listing Status
After synchronising with your Facebook account, you may encounter these statuses:

| Sync not started yet | Connect to Facebook |
| Connected - no listing found | Create a listing in connected FB or claim an unclaimed FB page |
| Listing found | Start verification with suggested methods |
