The company details section in your Listings account is crucial for presenting your business online. Ensuring that your company details are accurate and complete will help you succeed in the digital world by improving your visibility and reputation across various channels.


Updating Your Company Details

Why Company Details Matter: Company details like address, primary category, and contact information form the foundation of your business’s online profile. These details are recognised and accepted by all supported channels, ensuring consistent and accurate information is displayed to customers.


Pre-Filled Information: Your Listings may already be pre-filled with some information based on your Google location data. It’s essential to review this pre-filled data carefully and add any missing information to ensure completeness and accuracy.


How to Edit Your Company Details

To update your company details, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Your Listing’s Home Page: Go to the homepage of your Listings account.
  2. Locate the "Company Details" Section: On the left-hand side of the page, you will find the “Company Details” section.
  3. Click on "Edit": Select the "Edit" button to open the editing panel.
  4. Fill in All Necessary Information: Ensure all details are entered correctly and comprehensively, including the business name, address, telephone number, website, email, category, and opening hours.


Important Information to Include

It is crucial to provide as much information as possible about your business to optimise its online visibility. This includes both basic data and other relevant data:


  • Basic Data: Business name, address, phone number, website, email, primary category, and opening hours.
  • Additional Data: Company logo, photos, social media profiles, service details, and a long business description.


Understanding the Primary Category

Primary Category Importance: The primary category defines the main type of your business and influences how it appears in searches. Listings allow you to add up to 5 categories, but the first one is considered the main category. It is the most crucial because it determines the additional options available for other categories.
